Research Interests:
My research focuses on the behavioral ecology of human foraging societies. I am interested in the evolution of the sexual division of labor, allomaternal care, children's foraging patterns, and the evolution of the human diet. My dissertation project studies various types of allomaternal care among the Hadza hunter-gatherers of northern Tanzania.
