MMW-1 Policy on Academic Integrity

Academic integrity is a prerequisite for passing MMW-1, so someone caught cheating stands to fail the course regardless of points accumulated. This is referred to as an "academic sanction."

In addition to the academic sanction, an "administrative sanction" is likely to be imposed by the Council of Deans of Student Affairs. Examples of an administrative sanction are probation, suspension, and dismissal.

If you have questions, feel free to consult your professor or TA.

You may also wish to look at Professor Jordan's rather elaborate page concerning what does and what does not constitute cheating, and what measures the University uses to deal with cheating, together with much related and unrelated matter, including the misadventures of an easily tempted soul named Jimmy Gimmie.
