Research Interests

My research focuses on the behavioral ecology of human foraging societies. I am interested in the evolution of the sexual division of labor, allomaternal care, children's foraging patterns, and the evolution of the human diet. My dissertation project is entitled The Helping Behavior of Hadza Children: Allomothering and the Evolution of Cooperative Breeding in Humans.
