Edom Lowland Project-

Field School

Welcome to the Edom Lowland Project Field School Page.  The current project represents a follow-up to our 2006 excavation in the Lowlands of Edom (ca. 50 km south of the Dead Sea in Jordan).  Students earn 12 units of UC academic credit for the quarter spent in the field in Jordan.  You will learn state of the art Anthropological, Biblical and Digital archaeology while participating in this 6-week program.   Excavations for the Fall Quarter of 2006 will take place from September 28—December 7, 2006.  To register: if you are a UCSD student, go to UCSD TritonLink and register for the Summer Session: ANPR 194 Middle East Archaeological Field School (12 units).  I
